London Collections: Men

It’s that time of the when all the heavy-duty fashion editors, bloggers and style arbiters start descending on the streets of London from different parts of the style spectrum to attend London Collections: Men or LCM. Here’s a quick look at the homme collections showed so far:
Astrid Andersen
Loved the long, stick-straight, centre-parted hair, sporty jackets, metallic accents and baggy trousers (that reminds me: Is skinny on its way out?).
Richard Nicoll
The designer showed his signature monochrome style by using teal blue from head to toe, Flashes of neon yellow, apple green, shirts with floral applique work, wide legged trousers and slim belts added vibrancy to the gloomy London collections.
Topman Design
It was a gloomy, broody feel as models as models sported wet textured hair and chiselled cheek bones strutted down the runways. Key looks had PVC accents. There were huge overcoats, voluminous knitwear, and overwhelming pleated wool pants paired with chunky footwear.
Lou Dalton
We saw an array of two-button suits in monochromes with cuffed trousers. However, what caught my attention the most was a denim look in candy pink.
