Key Looks from Burberry Fall 2013
Guys, the party season is almost here! There’s a pleasant nip in the air, every weekend seems to be booked and every invite is screaming for your RSVPs. Guess what… it’s time to upgrade your closet too…

Lanvin Fall 2013
It’s time to bring out the real party animal within you and rule the jamboree circuits with a style which is unmistakably yours and trendy at the same time. Here’s decoding key party looks this fall.
Being a Stud Muffin!
Metallic studs have been huge for so many seasons now and they don’t really seem to go out any time soon. Funnily enough metallics and men do make for strange bedfellows. Ask designer Hedi Slimane if you don’t trust me. If you think you can pull off metallic studs, you’ll be the best gift to the party scape this fall. Channel your inner rockstar by investing in a pair of Christian Louboutin spikey loafers which are up for grabs in many variations. A leather studded jacket definitely works well for Delhi’s winter but I’m afraid shall have to rule it out for Bombay where fall style rules are slightly different.

Gucci Fall 2013
Waist coats, suits, blazers – all seem to have come back in the DB avatar. Play with monotones which means wear all the pieces in the same family of colours or inject a pop of colour in a muted ensemble. For example, wearing a pair of slim-tailored orange pants with a tweed grey blazer can be a great look or accenting the grey blazer with tangerine elbow patches.

It’s Plaid Party!
Plaids, checks and gingham prints never go out of style at least as far as menswear scene goes. A three-piece suit in tartan pattern may be a little too much for some but trust me it’s one of the strongest looks this season. Complete the look with a pin-tucked dress shirt and channel your inner dandy.

Nothing wrong with being preppy
Suspenders are making an assault wreaking comeback. Complete your day look with a pair of toned leather suspenders and a vintage style frame eye wear. Throw in a printed bow-tie to add that edge of sophistication. For the great finish complete the look with a pair of monk strap shoes and a slim dial watch with an antique finish.
Layer it well
A cashmere cardigan is a great bet for the soiree season. Get one with stripes or diagonal prints and wear it over a classic v neck or a round neck. Add a shredded denim jacket or shirt over it to complete the layering look. Denim on denim also looks beautiful. Add a nifty pocket square or a corsage as you hit the party in a trendy downtown restaurant.
More importantly be yourself and smile a lot. That’s the best accessory for any party.
